Hollywood Fashion Secrets Review

So personally I find it hilarious when celebrities have fashion oops on the red carpet. It shows that they are human, and it also makes me giggle. (I know I am mean sometimes) Also, it means that these celebrities do not know about Hollywood Fashion Secrets. I know about them, and I love their products, I just wish this meant I was a celebrity! Thankfully Hollywood Fashion Secrets are available to everyone, and they are amazing! Added bonus for my local ladies, they are made in Minneapolis, MN.

I was more than excited when I was sent their "Fall Favorites". I have been waiting for awhile to do this review, as I wanted to wait until I was able to use all the products I was sent. Here is a description off all I was sent and my opinions of them!

  • 30 sheets ea. come in a 2 pack
  • Reminds me of those sheets you use to remove the oil from your face, (they have those too!) but these remove lint from your clothes.
  • Super convenient, I keep one in my purse and it it great for on the go touch ups!
  • Strong & Powerful, and last more than one sweep of your shirt!
  • Definitely recommend

  • Clear double sided stick tape to hold garments in place
  • This would help many celebrities with their "nip slips"
  • Works great with buttoned up shirts from that gaping in between buttons
  • Holds up a tube top great
  • Made from 3M Hypo Allergenic fabric friendly strips
  • These are a must have!

  • I was terrified of this at first! I thought it would for sure rip my sweater wide open, not get rid of the pilling and fuzz!
  • I definitely did the garment test like it recommends, because I was so nervous about ruining my clothes.
  • I tried it on my sweater that I thought I would just have to throw away, because the pilling was so bad...it is like a brand new sweater! It took all the fuzz right off, and did not damage my sweater at all!
  • I would definitely test the material first, but this is another must have for the Fall/Winter wardrobe!

  • Do you wear high boots over your jeans in the Fall/Winter? I do and these have made it some much easier to dress!
  • They are straps that you put around your ankles or calves to hold your jeans tight and in place. For me as a runner, I have large calves so I wear mine on my ankles and they work great.
  • Now you don't have to fold your pants into your socks and hope that they stay in place. The straps keep your pants neatly in place and looking nice!
  • Fall/Winter MUST HAVE for boot lovers!!

  •  It is rare, I mean very rare that you  would see me in heels, but on occasion it will happen. Some of my pants look cute with flats, and others well sometimes they just call for a heel to be a little sexier!
  • The Hem Tape is perfect for these times! I can wear the longer pants with the heels and when I want to wear my flats (usually) I just add some Hem Tape.
  • Reminds me of the Fashion Tape, it does its job and works great!
  • If you are between short and tall like me, you can NEVER find pants that fit correctly in the length...I recommend the Hem Tape for times like these!
Overall everything I received in the Fall must have collection was amazing! I would recommend these products to everyone! They are very reasonably priced and they do their job. There are so many items to choose from, check them out!! Get $4.99 Flat Rate Shipping and on orders over $25 FREE shipping! Get all the things you need to make this Fall and Winter season, a great one in fashion!! LIKE them on Facebook too!

Burt's Bees Review

I was super excited when I got picked to review Burt's Bees new Sensitive Skin  facial cleanser and daily moisturizing cream. I have always had break outs and they are annoying and embarrassing, I am not in high school anymore, I just want clear skin. I also have sensitive skin, so finding the right product can be hard as well.

I have tried the Burt's Bees cleanser and cream for over a week now. The first few days my skin felt really smooth. The cleanser takes some getting used to, as it does not really lather so that was weird. The great feelings only last a couple days though. My face broke out even more and using the cleanser and the cream made me feel like I was rubbing in double the lotion. The cleanser as I said does not lather so I feel like I am rubbing lotion into my face. Even after you rinse it off it feels as though there is a residue that is left behind.

I did like the daily moisturizing cream, just not used in combination with the cleanser. My only complaint about the cream was that 3X the amount I need comes out, so I feel like I am wasting so much of it.

Here are some facts about the products:
  • Cleanser is made with Cotton Extract
  • Soap free (Cleanser) and fragrance free(both)
  • Hypo-Allergenic (both)
  • Dermatologist tested (both)
  • Cleanser has rice extract to moisturize and aloe to soothe

So overall the Burt's Bees products did not work out well for me. I felt like I had a residue left on my skin and it did not help clear up my skin, but made it worse.I would recommend the daily moisturizing cream, but personally I can not recommend the cleanser.

I received the above products for free for being a  Bzz Agent in exchange for my honest review. As you read above, those are my honest opinions of the products.

Women of Faith Review

This past weekend I had the great honor of attending the Women of Faith event in St. Paul, MN. I really was not sure what to expect, but I was very excited for it. I have recently found my faith again, and being picked to review this event just seemed like another way God wanted me to know he was here. I knew right away that I wanted to take my mom as my guest. She has attended this event in the past, and has also always been at my side. So if I was gonna have to face emotional things at this event, my mom was the women I wanted there with me.

 (My mom and me)

Things did not work out for us to attend the Friday day time events, so I can not say for sure what that part was like. We did attend the rest of the weekend and boy was I in for an emotional ride I was not prepared for. First let me give a little back info on me. I always thought I had God in my life, I know now he was there, I just didn't let him in. I had a fairly good upbringing. There was some physical abuse (I want to clarify, neither of my parents), I fell in love with the bad boy a few times and got into trouble. My biggest heartache though, was in March of 2006 when I was 11 weeks pregnant and had to have emergency surgery because it was an ectopic pregnancy. So one day I was happily pregnant and the next day I was not. That part of my life was a dark hole that I never truly dealt with. I never understood why if God loved me and was there for me that he would take my baby from me. I was told after that (and other female complications) that my chances of having children were slim to none. My journey back to God, has come with my TWO healthy and beautiful children. Madison was 9 months of trying to conceive and she was our miracle! We did not think we could possibly be blessed again. I lost a great friend to Leukemia (he was only 36), and one week later I found out I was pregnant with Carter. With two miracles, my eyes and my heart have opened back up to my faith in God.

This was my weekend...
Friday night was so much fun! A few weeks ago while watching the Wendy Williams Show, she had a singing act called Mary, Mary (Multiple GRAMMY awards, Dove, Stellar,MOBO,American Music Awards, and Soul Train Winners.) on her show. I had never heard of them, but I liked them and thought they were fun to watch. Well, I was surprised and excited to find out they would be at the Women of Faith Event all weekend! They preformed Friday night and that was a lot of fun.

 (Mary Mary)

Natalie Grant (4 time GMA Female Vocalist of the year) also preformed on Friday night. I thought that her voice was amazing and I really enjoyed listening to her sing. She told a story about he daughter twirling with Jesus and than sang the song HELD (Orange CD) oh boy did I cry. It was such a beautiful story about her daughter and than the song and her voice was so incredible.
